Yet, amidst her global adventures, Gabriela discovered a universal truth - the transformative power of migration. In 2015, she took her first steps as a permanent resident of Canada, brimming with hope and aspiration. However, the path was not without its challenges. Immersed in a new culture, she felt the tug of disorientation and the weight of uncertainty. It was in these moments that she glimpsed the untold stories of countless immigrants, grappling with the complexities of adaptation and integration. Struck by empathy, she recognized the gaping void in immigration services, a lack of clarity, and strategic guidance. Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC)
The College regulates Canadian immigration and citizenship consultants. Licensees of the College hold different classes of licence with varying scopes of practice. For example, a licensee may have additional qualifications to represent clients before The Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB), Canada's largest independent administrative tribunal. These licensees hold a “RCIC-IRB” class of license. For more information, please visit The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants’ website.
Note: It is an offence punishable by law for someone to provide Canadian immigration advice for a fee or other consideration without being licensed by the College, a Canadian law society, or the Chamber of Notaries of Quebec (Chambre des notaires du Québec).
Only some people can charge you a fee or receive any other type of payment. These people are called “authorized” representatives. If you use an unauthorized representative, in Canada or abroad, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) may return your application or refuse it.
Immigration and citizenship representatives:

Only the following paid persons are authorized to represent you in this province:
- A lawyer who is a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec (Quebec Bar);
- A notary who is a member in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec (Chamber of Notaries of Quebec);
- An individual who has been granted special authorization by the Barreau du Québec or the Chambre des notaires du Québec (Quebec Bar or the Chamber of Notaries of Quebec);
- A recognized immigration consultant registered with the Registre québécois des consultants en immigration (Quebec register of immigration consultants).
An initial consultation allows prospective clients the opportunity to speak with our team about the situation that they or a loved one are facing. The RCIC will ask some close-ended questions (yes/no) and open-ended questions (questions that cannot be answered with a simple 'yes' or 'no', and instead require the respondent to elaborate on their points), to fill in the remaining history. On our end, we gain a better understanding of your end goals, needs, and how we can most effectively be of assistance.

This is an online consultation. Virtual consultations can be defined as real-time communication between us through videoconferencing. Our organization uses Microsoft Teams for all its meetings.

- Verify your internet connection is stable. We recommend having another internet access point, such as your cell phone.
- Get familiarized with Microsoft Teams. For the best experience, join from the Teams desktop or mobile apps.
- Sign on early.
- Write down things you want to talk about and prepare questions to ask.
- Keep your important documents close. When it comes to immigration records, have them within a reach.
- Avoid multitasking, stay on track. It is best not to eat or drink during a virtual consultation.
- Be patient. Although technology has a lot to offer, technical issues are almost a given with virtual meetings.

We don’t have a price list posted online. Our company’s customer-value-based approach charges legal service fees based on the potential value of those legal services to the client. More specifically, value-based pricing means determining RCIC’s fees based on a variety of factors including the type of case, market rates, overall risk, and more. This pricing approach also can take into account the client’s goals and budget as well.
